August is coming to an end..

2:52:00 AM

Hello darlings, and welcome to my blog, or welcome back to my blog. Today, we have a summer related post, something i definitely have not done all summer at this point, and sister needs to step her game up. It's 10th August , and it's actually 3:46, so if this turns into a shit post, know that I'm sincerely sorry.
So, how was this summer for you? For me, I haven't yet went even on a road trip. But honestly, it has been a very different and life changing summer. It has been an emotional roller coaster. I have to admit that. Why? Because I want to be real, honest, not just say this was the perfect, beautiful summer, blablabla. But no. There have been some difficulties. And as of late, I have been a couch potato, because I don't really feel like going out rn (my best friend is currently on vacation so that adds up), but when i do feel ready, I will. Although I've been a couch potato, I'm trying my best to work out and stay active, which is so contradicting. I do want to be healthier. I do want to be better. And I'm doing it. Step by step, oh baby. Have I failed this summer? Yes. Of course I have. But I learned so much, I have grown so much, I wouldn't have even guessed it. A lot has been on my mind. I'm preparing for school, slowly, but surely. I'm planning for fall. All is good. I'm very grateful for this summer. And also, I have escaped my comfort zone a lot, so, yay for that!

Let me stop rambling and like, write out what I'm planning to do with the remaining of August. Or nope, like a to-do list. Love those.
Write a love letter/poem to yourself. Be as romantic and as detailed as you please. Show yourself some love! In life, the longest relationship is with yourself. You can't runaway from yourself, so be your own best friend, your own lover, your own everything.

Create a bomb ass playlist from all the songs you listened to this summer, see what you think of your taste as time goes by.

Read a book. You love books. So.. Why aren't you reading more? Or better yet, finish the Secret & Decameron , and then continue with other books. And it would be very cool if you would write a book review.

Practice more self care. Do something to care for yourself every day, and do a day especially dedicated to yourself.

Film a video. It can be a video of you singing, a video of you rambling, a lookbook.. Anything. Just try it out.

Explore a new place or an old place you haven't been to in a while. That would be great, wouldn't it be?

Try out a new recipe.

Try studying a new language.

Choose a song. Practice it. Again. And again. And again.

Organize your journal. Get the fall months ready.

Take really good photos.

Plan out an original going out. Something you don't usually do every day.

Keep up your workout and healthy eating routine as much as you can. Make an effort.

Try yoga again. Meditate more frequently.

Deep clean your whole house or room.

Draw more. Sing more. Write more. Be grateful more. Create more.

Get your sleeping schedule in order already.

All in all, enjoy the rest of the summer vacation and take care of yourself.
That's it, I hope you enjoyed this post. Even though it probably will be up later than I'm writing it. *Edit* it actually is, lol. Sorry for being an inconsistent bitch, if anyone cares even.

  19. I too have been a couch potato far a lot of the summer and have not been on any road trips. I like your suggestion for self love. I'm sure most of us could use more of that - I know I could.
Your list of things to do is wonderful. You are not a bitch at all, and I don't know anybody who is completely consistent. After all, we aren't androids. It is our idiosyncrasies that make us interesting.

  23. In a way, I sort of feel like you, in terms of the end of August. There's so many things which I'm yet to complete and I feel like a failure, a little, for not accomplishing it. Nevertheless, there are multiple things I've done during the summer holidays so I guess I can't be so hard on myself. Anyway, thanks for giving me a plenitude of things to do when I want to procrastinate in the holidays - have a nice day.😊

    1. Oh, it's okay. There's no need to be hard on yourself. And there's still time for us to do everything we didn't manage to do. And yeah, it's a nice thing to escape procrastination. Thank you , you too. x)
